Problems with PXE-USB on disk:

Using the boot floppy on a host with a floppy drive:

1. One of the three specified adapters fails: PXE-E63: Unable to initialize NIC
This adapter is an Entrega U1-E45 known good (works on Win2k).
I presumed when ordering that the MAC addresses would be checked
for supported vendor codes (00 50 F8)

Testing the boot agent on Compact Flash:

2. The target hosts to be booted have no floppy drives: the boot agent is to be on CF;
we sector copied the boot floppy to the CF (which works for any conventional bootable floppy)
but booting fails after a 60 second delay during which only a flashing cursor is seen:

BOOT: I/O error reading disk
Please insert another disk.

Observing the boot process on a floppy-booted client suggests a process of low-level access
dependent on floppy geometry or hardware (?)

This issue is critical to resolve.
