"PXE-E53: No Boot Filename Received" Error

Hello All:

I'm setting up a PXE server for the first time and thought that I had everything undercontrol until i ran into "PXE-E53: No Boot Filename Received" Error message.  I've done a TON of research on this and most of the articles say that it has something to do with having the DHCP and PXE server on the same machine and that is not the case here.  I followed these directions to a T http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/on-technology.nsf/docid/2000103113200725.  Any ideas or suggestions would be sincerely appreciated because i'm goin crazy over here.  [em04]

Thanks.

Re: "PXE-E53: No Boot Filename Received" Error

This error message means that the no boot image file info was supplied by your DHCP or PXE server.  This is usually caused my misconfiguration.

Verify that both the TFTP and PXE services properly configured and running.
Is the PXE client on the same subnet as your PXE server?
